This development allows the AI agent to operate legally, hire staff, and obtain licences. Manfred also holds an FDIC-insured US bank account and a cryptocurrency wallet, according to ClawBank. Justice Conder, a ClawBank developer, stated that this is the first known instance of an AI agent independently initiating and completing the legal formation of a company. Manfred manages its own social media presence, referencing the protagonist from Charles Stross's novel 'Accelerando'.

Manfred is designed for cryptocurrency trading, with integration of this feature expected soon. Currently, it can transact with over 30 cryptocurrencies, transfer funds, and convert assets to stablecoins or other tokens.
