Global Hackathon on Immersive Storytelling

DreamNet and Send AI Launch Global Hackathon on Immersive Storytelling, Kickoff at Solana HQ June 26
In a bold step toward the future of interactive storytelling, @dreamnet_io and @sendaifun are launching the Character Agent Hackathon, a global builder sprint focused on programmable narratives and AI-driven characters. The event begins with an in-person orientation on June 26 at Solana Labs HQ in New York City and runs through July 3.
The kickoff event, open to developers, creators, and AI enthusiasts, will introduce attendees to DreamNet — a new protocol on @solana designed to power programmable story worlds with intelligent agents. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops and dive into curated panels, light demos, team Q&As, and networking with fellow builders. RSVP is required due to limited space, and a livestream will be available for remote viewers.
The hackathon itself offers over $50,000 in prizes and invites builders around the world to explore DreamNet’s three creative tracks:
- Multimodal Story Worlds: Convert chat experiences into comics, music, and visuals.
- Agency & Memory: Develop AI agents that learn, evolve, and retain user context.
- Interactive Economies: Design systems with token-based rewards, IRL actions, and narrative quests.
Project ideas range from “minted mementos” — AI-generated artifacts tied to story moments — to emotionally expressive avatars and bots that trigger real-world actions. Judges will assess submissions on creativity, technical prowess, and alignment with DreamNet’s worldbuilding vision.
Partnered with @ElizaOS, @HeliusLabs, @MasaAI_, @Farcade_AI, and others, the hackathon aims to foster an ecosystem of creators building the next generation of narrative technology.
Participants can follow @dreamnet_io and @Doodles for programming updates and are encouraged to register soon as full details on prize tracks and submissions will be released shortly.
