Exodus Launches Exodus Markets: 200+ Tokenised Assets Now Tradable on Solana

Exodus Markets Launches on Solana

Exodus Movement has expanded its crypto wallet by launching Exodus Markets, a new feature allowing users to trade over 200 tokenised US stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets directly on the Solana blockchain. This service, introduced on 12 June, is integrated within the Exodus wallet and leverages Ondo Finance’s infrastructure for asset tokenisation.

How Exodus Markets Works

Exodus Markets offers access to more than 200 tokenised assets, including US equities and ETFs. These are not synthetic derivatives but tokenised representations of actual securities, brought onchain via Ondo Global Markets. The service is available to eligible users in select non-US jurisdictions and does not require separate accounts or applications.

Significance for Real-World Asset Tokenisation

Exodus, listed on the NYSE American, was among the first public companies to tokenise its own stock. The partnership with Ondo Finance enables Exodus to offer a broad range of tokenised assets without developing its own tokenisation infrastructure. This move demonstrates the practical application of blockchain in bridging traditional finance and digital assets.

Implications for Solana and UK Users

Every transaction on Exodus Markets is processed on Solana, showcasing the network’s capacity for handling real-world financial products. For UK investors and developers, this highlights Solana’s expanding use cases beyond DeFi and memecoins, and signals opportunities for further adoption of tokenised assets in the UK market. While Exodus Markets is not available to US users, UK residents in eligible jurisdictions may benefit from direct access to tokenised equities and ETFs, maintaining control of their own keys.

Why This Matters

  • Demonstrates Solana’s suitability for large-scale financial applications.
  • Offers UK users exposure to tokenised real-world assets.
  • Supports the trend of self-custody in digital asset management.

As competition in the real-world asset tokenisation space increases, Solana’s role in supporting such platforms may influence future developments in both the UK and global markets.
