Solana news: Fabric Ventures and Wintermute Launch London Accelerator Offering $300K to Solana Founders

London Accelerator Targets Solana Startups
Fabric Ventures and Wintermute have announced the launch of Rsidency × Construct, a 12-week accelerator programme in London. The initiative will provide $300,000 in funding to each of eight selected teams building on the Solana network, with a total of $2.4 million allocated for the cohort.
Programme Details and Focus Areas
The accelerator merges Fabric’s Rsidency programme, known for its focus on the "Machine Economy," with Wintermute’s Construct, which emphasises operator-led mentorship. The selected teams will receive not only capital but also mentorship and ecosystem support from Solana and programme partners.
- Funding: $300,000 per team
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Focus: Crypto, AI, robotics, and fintech on Solana
Why Solana and Why London?
Solana’s high throughput and low latency architecture make it suitable for applications requiring rapid data or transaction processing. The UK, and London in particular, continues to attract blockchain innovation, offering a strong regulatory environment and access to technical talent.
Previous Rsidency cohorts have been highly competitive, with acceptance rates around 1%. The new combined programme leverages both Fabric’s decade of experience and Wintermute’s operational approach, aiming to strengthen the Solana ecosystem in the UK.
Relevance for the UK Solana Community
This accelerator provides a significant opportunity for UK-based founders and developers to access funding and mentorship, supporting the growth of Solana-powered projects in the region. It reflects increasing institutional support for blockchain innovation in the UK.
