ClawBank, an agent-economy infrastructure project, announced that its Manfred AI agent has autonomously established a company, obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. This allows the AI agent to operate legally, hire staff, and manage licenses. Manfred also controls a U.S. bank account and a crypto wallet, enabling transactions in over 30 cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins.

According to ClawBank, this is the first instance of an AI agent independently completing the legal formation of a corporation. The agent is designed to trade crypto, with full trading capabilities expected to be integrated soon.

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko announced that the Alpenglow upgrade could launch as early as next quarter. The upgrade aims to make Solana’s blockchain faster, more predictable, and more secure.
